mistake? typo? just plain stupid?

For a good hour, this is how Yahoo spelled a certain notorious terrorist's name on the front page of their website...WTF?
In all fairness, they caught their "mistake" around the 11 o'clock hour this morning and in no time the faux pas was fixed and forgotten. thank goodness for screen shots.
